Corning (GLW) posts $0.44 (excluding special item), vs. $0.40 first quarter EPS on 24% sales rise. Current results exclude a non-cash credit of $327 million pretax, after-tax related to the pending Pittsburgh Corning Corporation bankruptcy proceeding. Sees $0.47-$0.50 second quarter EPS (excluding special item) on $1.71-$1.75 billion sales. S&P maintains strong buy. Corning makes the glass LCD screens for TVs. The earnings report shows a huge market for these screens. The lower dollar makes Corning a good buy for International TV manufacturers.

Visa (V) posts $0.52 second quarter adjusted EPS (Class A) on revenue of $1.5 billion. It says its financial outlook over the next three years includes the following metrics: annual net revenue growth of 11%-15%; annual adjusted operating margin in the low 40% range; annual adjusted EPS growth of 20% or greater; and annual free cash flow in excess of $1 billion.

DELL has been beat down with bad news for some time. I believe we have seen the bottom of this stock. It is undervalued and has all the bad new already priced into the stock. This is a good time to buy and hold stock and call options.

There is a buzz on the street that RFMD is a target for purchase. This Semiconductor Company has been beaten down to the $3.00 area for some time. The speculator investors are circling RFMD. Cheap play, buy stock or call option

I started buying this option call on Ford last week. This morning the news annouced- Billionaire investor Kirk Kerkorian has taken aim at the No. 2 U.S. automaker, acquiring what could become a 5.6 percent stake in Ford Motor Co (F) through his investment vehicle Tracinda Corp.

Kerkorian, who previously held a nearly 10 percent stake in General Motors Corp (GM) and made a failed bid for Chrysler LLC last year, began amassing Ford shares April 2.

Tracinda holds 100 million Ford shares and announced on Monday that it planned a cash tender offer to acquire 20 million more shares, or about 1 percent of the stock, at $8.50 per share, or a 13.3 percent premium over Friday’s close.

Ford shares and bonds shot higher after the announcement.

maker of Ugg, which was up $25 today – have often been winners for Homegamers. Well, now she’s set to launch her own network in a joint venture with Discovery Holdings Discovery Holding CoDISCA
and Cramer thinks the stock’s a buy for that very reason.

But there’s more than that. This being Green Week here at CNBC, Cramer would be amiss if he didn’t point out that Discovery is rebranding Discovery Home Channel, and its 50 million subscribers, to Planet Green. DISCA’s already singed on Whirlpool, Waste Management and General Motors as advertisers. Cramer said he thinks Planet Green will ride this trend toward eco-friendliness right to the bank.

Cramer’s also mentioned that Discovery Holdings is finally initiating a much-needed restructuring. In the simplest terms, the move will make it easier to value DISCA, and put the holdings company in a better position to access its cable properties’ free cash flow.

Oh, and those cable properties are highly desired in the industry, Cramer said. So there’s also a chance DISCA could get a takeover bid.

Wow what a stock! Visa had a great day followed by an incredible After Hours trading. The stock went above $76.75. The analysts are talking about the earnings coming up next week and this is pushing the stock higher. As they said tonight on Fast Money the first two earnings reports for IPOs are home runs. This is because there is no historic data to gauge against. This is a BUY!!!!!! Don’t miss the train.

Shares fell tonight after the MSFT earnings were released. Microsoft had a good quarter but forecast a slower future quarter. The short folks dumped their shares during after hours trading as you see below. The long investors see this as an opportunity for a dip. The price will drop in trading tomorrow. MSFT still a good long play.
