MOT - MOTOROLA INC - Turn around opportunity - Speculative long
Motorola continued deterioration in the handset business and the impact it has on the company’s ability to generate cash. “Effecting a turnaround in the near term will remain a challenge for the company in light of their difficulties in developing a broad portfolio of phones including 3G and low-end offerings as well as ongoing changes in Motorola’s senior management ranks. This company will possibly turn this down-turn around with division sell offs and wholesale changes. During this bad phase the stock is cheap and beaten down. This provides an opportunity for stock piling this stock and long term options.
