Shares fell tonight after the MSFT earnings were released. Microsoft had a good quarter but forecast a slower future quarter. The short folks dumped their shares during after hours trading as you see below. The long investors see this as an opportunity for a dip. The price will drop in trading tomorrow. MSFT still a good long play.

I have bought MSFT this week on price dips. The earnings are coming out Thursday. Good Long buy.

This ETF is a sector based fund. The tech stocks are lining up for an upward directional run with the GOOGLE, INTEL and IMB earnings. If this sector continues positive earnings this week with MICROSOFT this ETF will go up.

Earnings are coming up on April 24th. I like the set up I see in the technicals. I may pick up some MSFT on down turns before the earnings. Rumors on the street are that the earnings will be good and not bad. IBM certainly came thru today on Tech earnings. Once we get a strong turn in the market recovery this will be a good investment. Long hold.
